About Us

Stonewells are an experienced multi-disciplinary construction consultancy. With offices in both London and on the Kent coast in Folkestone, we have easy access to our immediate local market across the South East and Home Counties.

Stonewells specialise in Construction (Design and Management) consultancy, chiefly the delivery of the Principal Designer and CDM-Advisor roles; the provision of statutory and operational compliance General and Environmental Risk Assessments, and; the delivery of various Occupational Health and Safety Management services including acting as retained Consultants or Advisors and the production and implementation of Management Systems to either ISO 45001:2018 or HSG65 Standards. We deliver these services to an array of clients from a broad spectrum of business sectors. We operate throughout the UK, however, we have also consulted across mainland Europe as well as in China too.

With over 20 years’ experience in the UK construction industry, Stonewells was established in 2013 and reignited in 2021 following a two-year hiatus. The business was borne out of a desire to deliver its core services more effectively than we had begun to see across the industry. Within this desire also sat the ambition to do deliver our services so diligently that clients, construction operatives, end users, their assets, their businesses and those with legal responsibilities were fully protected from legal recourse. Through this robust approach we are able to help ensure assets provide maximum returns – both operationally and financially, and that our clients return on their investment – in us as their trusted advisor and construction consultant and in their business, repays them generously.

Stonewells can demonstrate a consistent track record in delivering our services across a number of high-profile construction projects, some of which require complex engineering solutions to overcome significant constraints, challenges, hazards and risks. We have been fortunate to have been appointed on some of the UK’s biggest construction projects (Sizewell C and Bradwell B Nuclear New Builds for example) and several others by some of the UK’s biggest blue-chip organisations.
